HOW IT WORKS

01

Browse with context

A colored bar shows community risk, then shrinks to a small shield after five seconds. Open it whenever you need the details.

02

Share your experience

Give a thumbs up, or report a problem with a category and explanation. A new review replaces your previous review for that website.

03

Read the evidence

See recent reviews, category scores and confidence based on review volume. Sites without reviews show as unknown.

INSTALLATION

Coming to your browser.

Chrome Web Store and Microsoft Edge Add-ons listings are not published yet. Store installation links will appear here when available.

Testing a development copy?

Use the extension folder supplied by the project maintainer. Open your browser's Extensions page, enable Developer mode and choose Load unpacked. In extension Settings, set the community API to https://report.webprevent.com and grant server access.

Community reports need context.

WebPrevent is an early community reputation tool. It does not scan websites for malware or guarantee safety. A green indicator means low community-reported risk; gray means there are no reviews. Installation-based identities do not prove that reviews come from distinct people.
